A connect4climate event was organised by Shining Souls using social media handels as well as website to Consider how you can gather support by mobilizing a larger group for action about Climate Change.

The objective of event was  that we are the last generation that can end climate change. We can and we will.  You might think that we are too young to know about the risks and realities of climate change.  But we see its effects in our daily lives.

Is India on track to beat the perfect storm?

“The Perfect Storm” was a dire prediction that by 2030 food shortages, scarce water and insufficient energy resources together with climate change would threaten to unleash public unrest, cross-border conflicts and mass migration from worst affected regions.

“The climate emergency is a race we are losing, but it is a race we can win”.

As we now struggle to cope with a global crisis, it is tempting to argue that the looming climate crisis is not our most pressing concern, and that its mitigation should be postponed for happier and more prosperous times. However, it is clear that the COVID-19 crisis offers important lessons for the upcoming global climate crisis. Global emergencies are not new, but our ability to understand, prevent, and manage them is now greater than ever before. Let us learn from the current situation and act now to prevent the worst potential consequences of a crisis that we and future generations will almost certainly have to bear.
